Brest University's Faculty of Sciences was established in 1966 and has undergone several extensions since then. It hosts around 3,000 students each year and is nationally renowned for its Master's degree in Biodiversity Management and Conservation, which demonstrates the faculty's involvement in ecological restoration.

The campus is located 1.5 km from the city centre, located at Place de la Liberté. Information on transport options is provided below.
BUS: If you would like to get from the city centre to the venue (Faculty of Sciences), choose bus number 1 which leaves on the side of Place de Liberté. The approximate trip time will be 15 minutes, you have to get off at the "Bouguen" bus stop. Check Bibus' website (service provider) for more information!
TRAMLINE: The city's second tramline, which will go from the city centre directly to the Faculty of Sciences, will be inaugurated in February 2026. More information will be shared soon!
BIKE: VéloZef is the name of Brest Métropole's self-service electric bike scheme, ideal for short journeys or short periods of use. 185 high-performance bicycles (with a range of up to 60 km on a full charge), easy to handle, lightweight and simple to use are available with 29 fixed stations. WALK: Otherwise, the most environmentally friendly way to get to the venue is to walk through Brest city centre! It's only a 25-minute walk from Place de la Liberté.
