SERE 2026’ SOCIAL EVENTS !

SERE are privileged moments for knowledge exchanges, intellectual stimulation and new ideas emergence but they are also moment of fraternity and happiness. Some days when we can meet colleagues and partners from all Europe and even farer, to meet old, but also new, friends.

Following this tradition of conviviality, the organizers propose different events to share good time. We certainly won’t reach the standards of the 2024 Tartu’s edition but we hope that you will leave Brest with both new ideas, knowledges, friends and souvenirs !

THE ICE BREAKING PARTY – Monday 24 August 19h

For your arrival in Brest (or after a hard day of courses or meeting), we will welcome you at the conference place, in the Faculty of sciences, with some drinks, food and music !

THE WELCOME PARTY – Tuesday 25 August 19h

On Tuesday evening all participants of SERE2026 are invited by the Brest city for cocktail in the “Richelieu’ salon” at the first floor of the townhall, from where you will have a beautiful view on the town but also on the “Rade (bay) of Brest” .

THE CONFERENCE DINNER

Organized in an emblematic place of Brest “ les Ateliers des Capuçins” , a former industrial workshop that became the largest covered square in Europe, should leave you some memorable memories !

Come and discover this industrial cathedral and the artefact of its industrial history, Napoleons ceremonial Boat and the view on the bay !

Share the music, gastronomic food and dance .. with some surprises !

Supplementary fees are asked for this event but we tried to make then as lower as possible to enable to most of you to participate.
